Kilimanjaro – Marangu Route
7 Days

Day 1
Arrive in Arusha for overnight.

Day 2
Transfer to Kilimanjaro National Park gate for commencement of the climb. The first day is a hike up hill through the forest to Mandara hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Depart from Mandara and hike through the alpine moorlands to Horombo hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Depart from Horombo and walk through the Saddle and onwards to Kibo hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
The final part of this climb begins at 02:00hrs ascending to Gillmans Point (18,640ft). If snow condtions and time permits then you can continue to Uhuru Peak (19,340ft), African highest point. Descend to Horombo hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 6
Final descent to the gate of Kilimanjaro National Park where you will be met and transferred to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 7
Breakfast followed by transfer to the airport.
